Extran® - Formaldehyde-free AP 33: An antifoam agent that sustainably protects your health and the environment
Formaldehyde is a toxic chemical that is known to cause cancer. Because of this, it should be used as little as possible – or better, not at all. That's exactly what Merck has done with Extran®: all of the cleaning agents in this range are made with no added formaldehyde. That goes for the AP 33 antifoam agent, too, the successor to Extran® AP 31. With the introduction of Extran® AP 33, Merck is living out its aim of ensuring sustainable protection for us and our environment. We are constantly extending our quality range of Extran® products to keep delivering reliable quality products in the future, too.
Extran® AP 33: A new antifoam agent for automated cleaning
Special antifoam agents prevent excessive foam formation when cleaning up residues that foam themselves, from e. g. protein to emulsifiers such as soap etc. The new Extran® AP 33, the successor to the tried-and-tested Extran® AP 31 antifoam agent, achieves the same results, with no added formaldehyde. This antifoam agent makes cleaning safe and easy by reliably controlling the formation of foam.
The new Extran® AP 33 in Merck’s Extran® range is unique on the market. It is produced under strictly controlled conditions with no added formaldehyde. Not only is it kind to the environment, but also to your health.
