That’s why we always had a hard time when we were forced to decline an audit request from one of our customers due to limited capacities. This is now a thing of the past: With our new group audits for EMPROVE® excipients, we can give these customers the possibility to audit us and get to know our quality measures first-hand.

EMPROVE® Excipients are manufactured and controlled in accordance with the cGMP requirements of the "Joint IPEC - PQG Good Manufacturing Practices Guide for Pharmaceutical Excipients."

Moreover, we offer our customers comprehensive support in their supplier qualification, quality assurance and regulatory matters. This is the reason why we have developed our EMPROVE® product line: EMPROVE® raw materials come with detailed, usage-specific documentation that is ready to use and saves you valuable time and costs in your registration process. And from now on, EMPROVE® offers even more: For EMPROVE® excipients, group audits are now possible as well.
Closing the gap: group audits
Because supplier audits are the best way to verify process safety, hygienic conditions, or quality assurance measures of suppliers on-site. Each year, Merck receives numerous audit requests – and as a matter of course we wish to give all our customers detailed insights into our processes and practices. Unfortunately, however, our capacities limit the number of audits we are able to conduct. In order to close this gap, we sought and found an alternative to elaborate single audits: In group audits, several firms can audit us collectively in small groups.
The most efficient way to your supplier audit
A group audit is a two day event with a standardized agenda and a specified topic. We assure you that the audit is conducted in small groups (one participant per firm). The participation fee is 1.500 € per person. As far as possible, individual questions can be discussed in the group as well.
